STANDARD IS JUST THE BEGINNING

Your section.
Your requirements.
A shared starting point.

When the geometry needs to do more, a clear drawing turns a custom-profile conversation into a practical plan.

  1. 01 Define the section, dimensions and critical interfaces.
  2. 02 Review material, surface and service conditions.
  3. 03 Agree the fabrication and sample requirements.

THINK BEYOND THE MATERIAL

Ask the
right questions.

THE ENVIRONMENT

What surrounds it?

Chemicals, weather and temperature guide the material discussion.

THE ASSEMBLY

How does it connect?

Loads, supports and interfaces help define the complete section.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST ENQUIRY

A few useful
answers.

Good questions make a better brief. Start here, then talk through your own requirements.

Ask our team
Which FRP profile shapes can I enquire about?

Explore square and rectangular tubes, round tubes, U channels, I-beams, angles, solid rods and purlins. For another geometry, send a cross-section drawing for a custom-profile review.

Can you work from a drawing or sample?

MingChi accepts drawing-based and sample-based enquiries. Include dimensions, critical tolerances, intended use and expected quantities so tooling, processing and sample requirements can be discussed.

Can an FRP section directly replace a steel section?

Selection needs a project-specific review. Loading, stiffness, connections, supports and service conditions all matter; matching the outline of a steel section does not confirm an equivalent design.

What should I include in a quotation request?

Send the profile shape, dimensions, cut length, quantity and destination. Add drawings, exposure details, fabrication needs and required documentation wherever available.

How do I choose a resin or surface finish?

Describe the actual environment, including chemicals, concentration, temperature and outdoor exposure. Ask for options and evidence for the proposed profile grade instead of relying on a general material claim.
